Join us for this webinar to learn the basics of loudspeaker analysis in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software.
In this presentation, we will introduce various aspects of loudspeaker analysis, depending on the level of detail needed to meet the design objectives. We will show how to extend the approach from simple to more advanced devices, proceeding from lumped models to the nonlinear transient analysis of a loudspeaker. In addition, we demonstrate how to include important behaviors that will affect the design, like structural vibrations and electromagnetic effects. We will explain how to set up the boundary conditions and multiphysics couplings as well as postprocess the simulation results with dedicated tools, such as the Octave Band and Directivity plots in COMSOL Multiphysics®.
The webinar will include a live demo of modeling a loudspeaker driver sitting in a vented speaker cabinet.

He has a degree in applied mathematics from South-Russian State Polytechnic University and a PhD in mechanical engineering from the Vienna University of Technology.
